What is Chrysalis?
- A Chrysalis Flight is a 3-day weekend designed to help young people better understand and grow their faith in God.
- The term "Chrysalis" represents the transformational stage between caterpillar and butterfly and symbolizes what can happen when individuals allow God to transform them through the power of His love on a Chrysalis weekend.
- It is a time of spiritual renewal that offers many beautiful surprises for those participating.
- Chrysalis inspires, challenges and prepares participants for a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, allowing them to feel the gift of His love and the presence of His grace.
- Participants will explore deep questions about who they are, where their faith is right now and what steps they will take to deepen it.
- Guys and girls attend separate Chrysalis Flights, and discussion groups are typically arranged in young people of similar ages.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is the most important service in the Chrysalis movement – but what's important – is we do it with excellence.
Sponsorship Training
If you are interested in sponsoring a youth on one of our upcoming Chrysalis Flights, one of the first steps you will need to take is to attend one of our sponsorship training sessions.
Our hope through this training is to help make this experience as consistent for you and your caterpillar as possible and to help answer all of the questions you might have about what to anticipate. You can find all of our upcoming sponsorship training sessions listed at the link above.

Serving
When it comes to serving, it takes many, many servants to operate just one of our Chrysalis Flights – so we would be excited to help you find a place to help us serve a Chrysalis weekend.
Serving meals on a Flight
This is a very rewarding opportunity for those who sign-up. We do encourage you to reserve your spot early since it is a first-come first-serve process to sign-up for but please read over the guidelines at the link above so you will know exactly what to expect.
The 72 hour prayer vigil
We ask that you faithfully consider praying for our next Chrysalis Flight by participating in the 72 hour prayer vigil during our weekend together. Visit the link above to get more information about our most important act of agape.
Connecting with us
The Chrysalis community is made up of members from those who have gone before us on the "Walk to Emmaus" and those who have experienced a "Chrysalis" weekend.
